Hello, I am Karen.

I see myself as a sensitive person. My perception of the world differs from that of most people around me. I experience the world in vivid detail: the joy, the challenges, and the complex layers in between.

Living as a sensitive person in a rapidly changing world has shaped my life path. For a long time, I felt that I had to adjust something, as if I were a puzzle piece that didn’t quite fit. I discovered that it wasn’t necessary.

It was simply a different way of being.

Who I work with

I enjoy working with people who process the world differently from most people.
My clients are often people who:

Feel deeply, for example: easily become overwhelmed by anything that is “too much,
” such as noise, pressure, and “mainstream” expectations.

See the beauty: You notice energy, creativity,
and meaningful connections that others often miss.

Discover neurodiversity: Perhaps you are looking for a place where your unique brain and nervous system are understood.
You might identify as neurodivergent, highly sensitive, or empathetic.
Or perhaps you do not use any of these terms, but you recognise something in what I describe and in the approach I offer.

My expertise

Through my background in social work and counselling, combined with my current focus on coaching for neurodiversity,
I have gained profound insight into the spectrum of brilliant, intense, and sensitive ways of being.

Our society is only just beginning to recognise the value of this diversity in all its forms,
but I believe that they are exactly what the world needs right now.

A neuro-affirming approach to coaching

What I offer is practical, neuro-affirming support. We do not work with ‘shoulds’, but with what is real:

Become the architect of your own energy:

  • Insight into your natural rhythms
  • Identify what gives you energy and what drains your energy.
  • how to thrive in daily life, communication,
and all kinds of relationships, work situations, etc.

A safe environment

Our sessions take place in a trusted online environment,
allowing us to discuss even the most difficult aspects of your life.

My story: From a city to the mountains

I learned to move forward by doing what is right for me, step by step.
In 2017, my husband and I moved from the Netherlands to the mountains of Cork and Kerry.
We chose a self-sufficient lifestyle.

This environment shapes everything I do.
Even in our online sessions, I bring that mountain atmosphere to you: space, tranquillity, and the opportunity to slow down.

If you are looking for more balance and a way to move forward without becoming exhausted, you have come to the right place.

Finding your way doesn’t have to be a solo journey.
To see if this approach resonates with you, feel free to book a single session.
